Therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voices unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put into your hearts, and you shall not be confounded before men; For it shall be given you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment, what ye shall say. --D & C 100:5-6

WHAT A WEEK!! WEEK 101

So this week was another great week to pile on to the last 2 years worth of weeks!!

Well I don’t have like any SUPER cool story to tell you why it was a great week it’s just always a GREAT week when you get to serve the Lord! Although we didn’t get some awesome miracles to happen we got at least our part member family to come to church and hopefully working towards their baptism (which will probably be after I leave.. sad) they are working on a word of wisdom problem right now, so when that problem is gone they will be READY! They were our only investigators to come to church even tho one family and our baptist investigator promised to come... they didn’t show up so kind of sad but okay! There’s always next week right? We’re kinda worried about our baptist investigator cause ever since we invited him to be baptized he hasn’t come to church.. so we’re trying to find his concern, hopefully we find it and help him out! Well, the awesome blessings this week that happened is we found 3 new investigators, and two of them were really interested and are gonna try to come to church sometime they said.. so HOPEFULLY! they will come!

I also had my LAST exchanges this week and it was with Elder ROBINSON! The GUS BUS! hahaha he’s the man! l love that guy!

But to end the week.. or start this week we kinda had a lil bummer happen.. I went to grab some personal money earlier and didn't find my wallet. Turns out someone broke in and took all the money that was in the apartment.  A lot of mission money and then my personal money, so that was a bummer but who knows maybe they will be nice and bring it back later! HAHAHA!

Well that was our week sorry no awesome stories or anything.. I dunked on some palm tree basketball hoop this week which was legit hahaha but that’s about it.. I LOVE YOU ALL! THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS AND SUPPORT!! See you all soon…

I'M ALIVE!! -WEEK 58

HEHEHE JK I NEVER DIED BUT MY EMAIL IS ALIVE!!
haha well finally my email got fixed so feel free to let me know how your doing hehe!!

Well this week was GREAT!! Not really that much happened, but I learned that everything is always great as long as nothing bad happened!! hehe

Well this week we had exchanges in Sto Domingo!! So that was fun and we had some really good food hehehe!! Then when we came back to our area we had a good couple days. We are working alot with our part member family, and the one girl to be ready for their baptism on the 1st of October, so we are gonna be going to them everyday this week to see if they're ready for baptism!! We think we might hold off one of them.. actually kinda sure we will push it back! But the family is looking really good!! He really changed his life!! He completely stopped using stuff like alchohol and cigarettes and coffee in like an instant hahaha he was like "ya i guess it’s a good reason to stop" haha!! He’s really cool he’s in one of my pics I sent. He’s the one holding the baby in the pic with the old guy haha!! The old guy is tatay bueno!! Which was disappointing he didn’t come to church!!

But something else that was fun is we had a one day mission on Saturday... the bad part was that only 6 people showed up... we were kinda mad about what happened there!! None of the leaders of the branch came.. it was really annoying but we were still able to get some work done!! We got to visit some less active families!! Well sorry for the short email power keeps going out!!

WELL I LOVE YOU ALLL SOO MUCH KEEP DOING GREAT!!

I am a child of God.
His promises are sure;
Celestial glory shall be mine
If I can but endure.
Lead me, guide me, walk beside me,
Help me find the way.
Teach me all that I must do
To live with him someday.

I ATE WHAT?! -WEEK 16

soooo.... I ate CHICKEN INTESTINES THIS WEEK!!!  I have a picture for proof!!  But computer is being dumb so probably no pics... but next week maybe!!!
I don't have alot of time because the dang pictures broke my computer!!  But I just wanted to share a quick story.  So on Sundays we do exchanges and while on exchanges I'm with a member in our ward and then I become the senior companion... man it's pretty scary being the one in charge while teaching, but I also love it, it's soo fun!!  I teach wayyy better too, because I actually have to be more focused and can't just rely on my comp to teach them!!  But yesterday, we were teaching a less active during our exchanges and we were teaching about repentance!!  And then at the end of the lesson we were talking about her coming back to church and she said she was just too lazy and stuff and then the weirdest thing happened... I started talking to her in almost perfect Tagalog ( k maybe not almost perfect, but really good) but while I was talking to her, I was feeling the spirit soo strong as a taught her and testified to her about attending church and the benefits and blessings of church, and I know she was feeling the spirit.  I could see it in her face!!  And after, she said ok ill do it!!  Because earlier she said I'll try and then we said "dont try just do!!"  And then she decided she would start coming back to church!!  We'll see if she attends this week.. hopefully!!
Also funny story!!  There's an American guy that lives like 30 minutes away from our apartment and I see him sometimes riding around on jeepneys and he always yells at me lol!!  But today I saw him at a restaurant for lunch and he came and talked to me and said " hey I was thinking about you the other day, I really was!  I was upstairs in my room praying and I started thinking about you!" (you know why he thought about me.. the spirit was reminding him of me so that we the missionaries could teach him the gospel!!)  But after that he said " I wonder if I'll ever see him again and if I do I'm gonna talk to him!"  Well, he did and we were just talking about where we were from and weirdly he has family in Scottsdale lol!!  But after, I asked him if he would be interested in listening to our message!  And well, he said no... but I know that we are supposed to teach him!!  That's not just a coincidence that he thought about me while praying!!  So next time I see him I'm gonna try to teach him!!
Time to go.. but I love you all... ALL OF YOU!!  We might not talk but I see all the people that get this email and I literally love you all!!  And your support, whether it's helping me or my family!  I'm so grateful for it!!  And everyone that reads this, if you see my mom this week you better give her a hug this week and tell her that her son in the PPINES loves her sooo much!!  Because it's Thanksgiving week and I realized how much I didn't thank her for everything she did for me growing up so this will be my way of kinda making up for it!!

ps. "don't try just do!!" whatever your trying to do better in your life stop trying and just DO IT!!
pss. don't forget to pray! there is power in prayer! - did you think to pray hymn!
psss. if your having a bad day listen to or read some hymns!!  They are amazing!!  They help me alot!!
pssss. I LOVE YOU ALL AND DON'T FORGET 👇
