t minus 6 weeks... -WEEK 97

What an AWESOME week these last few weeks and these next 6 weeks have and will be…. awesome! We’re starting to see God’s hand in this work in this area and it’s awesome to be a part of it! WARNING this is gonna be a short email mom magpasensya ka lang ha!! 

Soo this week we got to teach all of our progressing investigators and we were really bold with them this week to see how serious they really are and we extended them baptismal dates and they are all really excited for their goal dates (and so am I!) Their goal dates is my last Saturday in the mission but it might change to the 20th cause thats the moms birthday, so we are super excited to see what happens!

This last week the mom told me that she has been praying to know if this is really God’s plan for her!! Soo we just bore down in pure testimony and shared the blessings of the gospel and she is super excited and really wants to know this is right for her! So keep her in your prayers! We’re gonna try our favorite miracle worker this week! aka FASTING! I’ll give you guys another update what happens this next week!

This Sunday we had an area broadcast so all the wards met in the stake center and I got to see all the members from my last area so that was awesome! I love those people!! 

I love you all and also just want to send a SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE DADS OUT THERE!! You guys are literally the bomb!! but tbh I got like the michael jordan of dads!! love you dad!!

TIME FLIES WHEN YOU'RE HAVING FUN!! -WEEK 83

MARAY NA HAPON PO SA INDONG GABOS!! 

Soo it’s been another GREAT WEEK! that flew by... why is it that when you’re having soo much fun that time just seems to be gone as fast as a box of krispy kreme donuts!! (I’m having depression problems still cause I ate my donuts tooo fast! hahaha) So this week we were BUSY! I guess that’s why it went fast! So Tuesday we had a normal working day and went to a couple of our progressing investigators and also did some finding! Well while we were finding some lady yelled at me and said come to my house!! hahah so I yelled back and asked her name then we wrote her name down and went and found them last week but this week we got to teach them on Tuesday and the mom is really open and wants to learn! And one of her kids went to church back in the day with one of her friends...then when we went to go back and teach them...THEY WEREN'T THERE...sad right??? NOPE!! cause guess what!! Their neighbor is SUPER INTERESTED ALSO!! #blessed!! So we started teaching all of them this last week! And hopefully they’ll make it out to church this week! Then on Wednesday we had exchanges with the ZL’s!  AKA ELDER EGBERT!! (for those that don’t know he was my comp in the mtc!!) so we got to be companions again on our exchanges!! Which was awesome! Even tho we just did finding the ENTIRE DAY except for 1 appointment at night before we went home hahaha! Then on Thursday we had interviews with President which was awesome! Then FRIDAY was exchanges with our roomates! Which was just another day of finding haha!! With no results.. YET!! The pic of the lady scooping the rice into a sack is a lady we talked to and then helped carry her sacks of rice back to her house! And she said we could come back and teach her this next week! #blessed! Then Saturday was the baptism of the two child of record baptisms! Then we traveled to go to Legazpi for the Saturday session of stake conference! Then by the time we got back, we just ate and went to sleep haha then woke up and went back all the way to Legazpi for conference!! hahaha so it was a busy weekend full of traveling!! but VERY FUN! 

Then this morning we went to Cagsawa for our district activity! 

And NOW its time for another EXTRAordinary week!! Pray that we keep being #blessed with new investigators and progressing investigators!

BAGONG BALITA! -WEEK 66

WELL ACTUALLY I DON’T HAVE REALLY ANY NEW NEWS! I'm still here in GUINOBATAN! With my companion Elder Ayson and still struggling in this area. We were really sad this week because one of our GREAT investigators found a job last week and his schedule is either 7 pm to 7 am which we can teach him in the afternoon when thats his schedule, but every week it switches. This last week it was 7 am to 7pm and his house is too far away and when he gets home he goes right to sleep so we didn't get to teach him at all this week... and then our other progressing was in a different area with his girlfriend all week so we didn't go to him either! BUTTT WE DID get some delicious food this week!! Well more like lil snacks! Something I love about being in the Philippines and being in an area in the "bukid" or like mountains is that the members always give us coconuts!! hahaha Coconut juice has become my all time favorite drink ever!  Like there is nothing better than stopping and drinking a coconut while out walking in the heat of the ppines!! hahaha and I ate some weird lil yellow thing they said the name is "merienda" but that just means snack hahaha some people call it "passion fruit" hahaha I don't know what it’s called, but it was weird looking BUT SOOO GOOD!! I’ll send a pic of it haha! And then we ate some pomelo which is like a filipino version of grapefruits! I don't know maybe it’s the same I never ate grapefruits! haha
